The series of eleven townhomes have the unique quality of sharing a scale with the older architecture of the neighborhood while introducing a new design aesthetic. In this light, they act as a physical architectural buffer between the old and new in a `neighborhood at odds with contemporary development. On the outside they strive to fit in with the established town houses in the area through the use of color, material, proportion and scale; while on the inside, they boast a contemporary, multi-story open layout with double-height spaces, master suite balconies, usable roof areas, spacious landscaped rear gardens, and a rental unit.
