The artisan atelier will house the manufacturing of cheese, bread, charcuterie, fruit jams, and preserves for a Burmese food and restaurant brand in Yangon. In addition to centralizing their production in one facility the atelier will provide housing for the 60+ employees in a traditional village setting on the planted roof. The building is lifted off the ground to aid in natural ventilation, flood prevention, and to provide an area for the cultivation of livestock. This project aims to preserve the community of the village workers while sustaining the land as well as be a model for future manufacturing facilities throughout Myanmar.
